La Colombe, consistently ranked in SA's top 5 restaurants and regularly placed on the World's 50 Best list, is seeking a driven Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in this Relais & Châteaux property.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to work at the absolute pinnacle of South African gastronomy.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Oversee daily mise en place and kitchen operations\n• Manage and develop a team of 12 kitchen staff\n• Contribute to seasonal menu development\n• Maintain Relais & Châteaux quality standards\n• Manage food costs and wastage reduction\n\nRequirements:\n• Minimum 5 years professional kitchen experience\n• At least 2 years in a senior kitchen role\n• Formal culinary qualification (CCA, HTA, or equivalent)\n• Experience in modern European or contemporary cuisine\n• Passion for innovation and produce-led cooking\n\nSalary is negotiable for the right candidate.
